We are thrilled to announce that Coco Coalition has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Warner Music Group/Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund (WMG/BFF SJF). This generous grant will help us continue our mission of empowering Black women through holistic healing and community-focused initiatives.
The WMG/BFF SJF, a ten-year $100 million initiative, was established in June 2020 following the murder of George Floyd and countless other marginalized individuals. The Fund seeks to invest in organizations like ours that are dedicated to creating equitable communities and dismantling systemic barriers for underserved populations, particularly Black communities.
WMG/BFF SJF focuses its investments on three core pillars: education, arts and culture, and criminal justice reform, believing that real change begins with addressing these fundamental areas. In addition to financial support, the Fund offers capacity-building opportunities such as technical assistance and coaching in fundraising, financial management, and marketing—tools that strengthen organizations like Coco Coalition to deepen their impact.
This grant will allow us to further our work in holistic healing for Black women, expand our reach, and continue our commitment to mental wellness, cultural empowerment, and community building. We are incredibly grateful for the support and look forward to growing alongside the WMG/BFF SJF network.
Thank you to the Warner Music Group/Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund for this invaluable contribution to our journey! Together, we are moving toward a more just, equitable future.
